Aloha! - Thank you for your special interest in Hawaiian Steel Guitar Events

This web site is dedicated primarily to the promotion of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar and it's players by informing lovers of the most expressive musical instrument ever made, of exactly where and when it can be seen and heard on the islands of Hawaii, where the steel guitar was invented.

Many events are free, some of minimal costs. Where costs are substantial and known, they'll be highlighted in green.

Tune in to www.50thstateradio.com to hear the best in Hawaiian music, with a focus on the Hawaiian steel guitar.

Here's a fine site that is up-to-date on steel shows across the US and overseas - www.psga.org/pages/show.html

Hotels - Oahu

The world famous Haleku'lani Hotel's 'House Without A Key', has long been the premier spot to enjoy some of the best Hawaiian music with steel guitar, every evening at sunset with a beautiful Waikiki beach view, ever since the WWII era. 5:30 - 8:30pm

Unfortunately, the hotel no longer is honoring it's heritage commitments towards the Hawaiian steel guitar, and there is no guaranteeing that steel will be heard on the night's you may choose to visit. Call ahead to find out and ask if there will be steel for sure. The hotel's web site is not up to date per the evening entertainment.
